At Branching Out Burnley, we believe that learning outdoors should be fun, imaginative, and full of adventure. That’s why our sessions have a very special mascot: BOB the Squirrel.
BOB isn’t just an ordinary grey squirrel. He’s from Burnley, he loves the great outdoors, and he’s passionate about helping children and teachers discover new skills. Whether it’s finding their way with a compass, building teamwork through problem-solving, or simply enjoying the smell of toasted marshmallows around a fire, BOB is there to guide, encourage, and inspire.
And here’s the best part: on our Adventure Days, children can even try to spot BOB hiding nearby. He loves to play games, leave little clues, and sometimes even pops up in stories or activities during the day.
